Welp gamers, I be chillin' here in Lafe, writing this email. Not a ton is happening here in Argentina. We just be living it up mission style. Transfers are coming up pretty soon, we got like one more week left. I'm pretty hyped to leave here...not gonna lie. It's a super awesome area, I've just been here for like 4 and a half months so I'm ready for a change of pace. I really want to get an Argentine comp, I'm slacking a little bit on my Spanish, getting too comfy.
We've been focusing more on working with the members. We have a lot of Family Home Evenings with them, and passing by inactive members. We have friends who are progressing but we´re not really finding a ton of people. We had our zone conference and they talked about working with the members a ton.
I can't remember if i already wrote about this but an old argentine guy cussed me out bad, 'cause I rang his doorbell...
Me and Elder Snow lit our hands on fire...
I've been going to the depths of the gospel library,( the old 90's ads are golden.)
Oh we had a baptism! Our friend Lionel, he's the son of a member who just re-activated. It was super awesome to watch him be able to baptize his two kids. He sent a really awesome text after telling us how grateful he was for our help.
I know that God is real. I try to pray for miracles and spiritual experiences every day. God is always working in our lives, He is in every one of the details. He is waiting to help us. We just need to ask and give Him the chance. In every one of the miracles, people had to seek out the power of God and Jesus in their lives, not the other way around. I want to invite you guys to pray and seek this love and guidance, I can promise you'll receive it.
I love you guys, stay frosty. Keep chillin. Send me some emails. peace out
-Elder Christensen
